Meet The Author with Kathleen L. Asay

Please join us on Tuesday, October 13th from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. PT as Kathleen L. Asay discusses her newest novel, Curiosity Kills, with our own, Myra Jolivet.

Kathleen L Asay is a native Californian from the San Fernando Valley. After living in the Sacramento area for 26 years, she recently moved to San Diego. She has been a writer since she learned to write in elementary school, mostly writing mysteries, beginning with her own version of Nancy Drew type mysteries. She continued into college, always with the goal of writing books. She joined Sisters in Crime in 1988, becoming one of the early presidents of Capitol Crimes. She has written and edited short stories for many anthologies, including Capitol Crimes anthologies. Kathleen has published two novels, Flint House and Curiosity Kills, the latest from Camel Press April, 2026. Both books have journalist Liz Cane as narrator and are set in Sacramento. Busy working on her third novel, Kathleen also edits other writers' work.
